The trip to Spain

Steve Roberts reported:

We got to San Sebastion in Spain (just over the border) but a really interesting runway with the harbour full of yachts on final approach and mountains all around. The trip was not spoilt really (by the engine failure), just dragged out a bit by 2 additional nights away from home (at La Rochelle and Jersey).

The cylinder prob's were diagnosed on the Tuesday, a new complete cylinder and piston from Lycoming came overnight and were installed on the Wednesday (excellent service !). We then didn't have enough time to get home in one go so stopped off at Jersey for the night.
We got some photo's...John has digital photos and mine will be developed in the next week.
